Look forDOLEĀ® Fruit in Jars in the canned fruit section of your local grocery store in these five varieties:Pineapple Chunks, Mandarin Oranges, Tropical Fruit, Sliced Peaches or Mixed Fruit. I love them all but my favorite is Tropical Fruit because of the variety of fruit inside! Itās good to know that all five of the DOLEĀ® Fruit in Jars are packed in 100% fruit juice. When Iām buying packaged fruit, I always look for fruit packed in 100% fruit juice because the fruit is sweet enough and needs no added sugar! The suggested retail price is $2.99 but I find the Pineapple Chunks and Tropical Fruit for only $1.99 a jar at my local Kroger. Keep an eye out for coupons because DOLEĀ® loves to treat you to extra savings!
5 Days of Food and Fitness from Freebies 4 Mom
MONDAY ā Start Your Week with an Exercise Plan
Write down exercise time on your calendar for the entire week so you can start the week with a plan to fit in fitness! I know that if I write exercise on my calendar, Iām more likely to actually exercise! I feel my best when I exercise in the morning after fueling up with a healthy breakfast!
TUESDAY ā Incorporate Fruit into Every Meal
Your body loves all the goodness in all-natural fruits, so plan on incorporating it into every meal. It doesnāt have to be āfruit for dessertā because there are creative ways to incorporate fruit into breakfast smoothies, your salads or topchicken or fish with it!
WEDNESDAY ā Stock Up on Fruit
By making fruit readily available youāll be more likely to eat fruit with your meals and as snacks. Think about ways you can make fruit more visible by featuring a fruit bowl as a centerpiece on your table, dedicating a space in your fridge for FRUIT ONLY and stocking-up onDOLEĀ® Fruit in Jars and other non-perishable fruits in your pantry!
THURSDAY ā Treat Yourself to Nature
Getting outdoors into natural spaces is a wonderful way to reflect and reenergize. I head to the park with my family and take along a snack for fruit. I like to takea small insinuated bag with ice in it so I can keep my fruit cool at the park.
FRIDAY ā Reward Yourself with Dessert
Sometimes you can add a little something special to your fruit to make it into an extra special dessert. One idea is to pair fruit with greek yogurt like my recipe above. Another idea is to top your fruit with something special. I just discovered artisan toasted coconut chips and Iām topping my fruit with it when I want to enjoy dessert without any guilt!
